Last night, I scanned through ‘American Literature’ (2 volumes) (《美国语文 – 美国著名中学课文精选》) to look for introduction for Henry David Thoreau, since I have been reading a collection of essays by Thoreau, ‘The Art of Walking’ (《心灵漫步》). From my limited reading, ‘The Old Man and the Sea’ is the book standing out. This leads to my visit to Hemingway Home & Museum twice. I am planning another family trip to Florida this Christmas, including a visit to Hemingway Home & Museum again. I am going to have a chance to verify my impression.
From my previous visits, the first impression is the house is large, and there were many cats lazily lying around. There is a courtyard in the middle, surrounding by rooms in 2 stories. Now, it’s so convenient to look for images of Hemingway Home & Museum. But I think I will re-check the place by my own eyes again on my next visit in Dec. I think it’d be more interesting to see how everything evolves, including me.
